It was the summer of 2017. My pal Erik Lechtenberg and I wanted to make a stop-motion set. So we did.
Using wood hewn from our childhood hangout tree, and some plastic craft store supplies, we created a multilayered miniature forest complete with a set of 2D paper puppets to interact with it. The final animation didn’t turn out as well as expected, but the set and characters still look amazing! Scroll down to see all the production photos.
